Front view. The breasts on a person would be pushed up a little. But the dress form only pushes in if you pushed on it hard, so I left it gaping open instead of stressing the bodice.

The side seams of both bodice and skirt are matched up. The side front box pleat helps to take up extra fabric so the skirt can match the bodice at the edge.

Back is box pleated to fit. I also have both a side seam, and a side-back seam, for a better fit. It may also help me to adjust as my weight fluctuates (hopefully downward).

Kinda looks like cartridge pleating, but it is not. The sleeve is hand sewn with a whip stitch edge to edge with the bodice.

The raw edge of the skirt was serge finished, then folded under and held in place with a running stitch.

This shows the problems that happened to me the first time I tried to whip stitch the pieces together. I sewed too far from the edge, so it formed a ridge and did not lie flat when opened.
